Lisseth De La Cruz, LCMHCA

Psychotherapist

I graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in 2018 with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Bachelors in Psychology with a Minor in Sociology. I am also a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate through North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors with 4 years of practice.

One thing I have learned by working with multiple populations from all walks of life is that anyone can be struggling with something in their life. From suffering an episode of depression to dealing with substance abuse issues, to even undergoing a new life transition. From personal experience I know how important it is to find someone who genuinely listens and understands that it takes time, and effort, to build up a proper rapport to create an understanding of each person’s needs.

Therapy is a journey of self-discovery and growth; all you need to do is take that first step and I will be your strongest supporter through the ups and downs. My style of therapy is eclectic approach with modalities in person-centered therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Solution-Focus brief therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Disease concept/12 step. I work with adults 18+ and my specialties include Depression, Anxiety, Anger Management, Eating Disorders, Sexual Trauma, TBI, Life transition, Self-Esteem Issues, Codependency, Mood disorders, PTSD, Schizophrenia, Substance abuse, LGBT-Q, Stress, Adult ADD/ADHD, Suicidal Ideation, nightmare disorders, etc.
