Aubry McMahon, LCSWA
Psychotherapist
I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist with my Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in trauma. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology. I’m grateful to be seeing clients at Thrive Counseling in Indian Trail and Monroe as I get to do work that I truly love.
I’ve had the privilege of working with children, teens, and adults in a variety of therapeutic settings. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self-harm, PTSD and trauma, chronic illness, medical complexities, pregnancy, and parenting. I’m especially passionate about helping individuals process and heal from trauma, knowing how deeply it can shape our lives.
My approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and always tailored to your unique experiences, needs, and goals. I believe that healing happens in a space where you feel seen, heard, and safe. I strive to build a therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and understanding—so together, we can work toward growth, resilience, and lasting change.
