Psychotherapist - Indian Trail
It is not easy to ask for help. It can be especially hard when it comes to your mental health needs. Maybe you’re feeling lost and overwhelmed in this ever-changing world. Maybe you’re feeling like a burden to your friends and family. You don’t know what to do anymore, where to go, or who to turn to. You just need to know someone hears you. You just need to know someone is there for you.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina and a member of the American Counseling Association. I began practicing as a therapist in 2021 and have experience working with a wide range of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and substance abuse. My therapeutic approach is a combination of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused. Some techniques drawn from these approaches include facilitating a client-directed session, providing empathic understanding and unconditional positive regard, identifying negative, faulty, or irrational thoughts, and collaborating with clients in constructing solutions rather than focusing on problems.
Therapy sessions will offer a safe environment where you can explore various challenges without fear of judgment or shame. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have. It would be an honor to have the opportunity to accompany you in this part of your life's journey.
