Lavender Love, LMFTA
Psychotherapist - Indian Trail
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT-A) in the state of North Carolina. I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University.
I specialize in working with couples, families, adolescents (starting at age 10), and young women. My clinical focus includes relationship concerns, communication difficulties, family dynamics, and life transitions, as well as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and body image concerns.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and systemic family therapy. In my work with couples, I incorporate Gottman-informed interventions to support communication, conflict resolution, and the development of stronger, more secure relationships. When working with children and families, I integrate developmentally appropriate and play-based techniques to support emotional expression and connection.
I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges, building insight, and developing practical skills. My goal is to help individuals, couples, and families strengthen their relationships, increase emotional awareness, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
