I am a Licensed Mental Health Clinician with over 20 years of experience of counseling combining both religious and secular. I have spent countless hours in professional development to stay trauma informed, improving on my skill and knowledge to work with a wide cross section of people.is an empathetic Certified Trauma Professional skilled in trauma focused interventions. As a trauma survivor, I am a believer that healing and wellness is attainable. I commit to walking alongside an individual in their journey to wellness and trauma recovery in a collaborative fashion.
I provide safe and supportive person centered and trauma focused in-person and telehealth therapy services to teens and adults possessing a wide range of conditions, including trauma related stressor disorder, PTSD, substance use, depression, incarceration, homelessness, grief, abuse, family conflict, conduct disorders as well as severe and persistent mental health illness. I work with a wide cross section of clients including those referred through Charlotte Mecklenburg Court system, Department of Juvenile Justice, Atrium Human Trafficking Department for Teens, and other Trafficking organizations and Department of Social Services.
I believe in a ‘whole person’ view of her clients and adopts an integrated approach of theoretical models that honors this complexity. While I may apply interventions from various therapeutic modalities.
