Psychotherapist - Monroe
Navigating our daily life often presents a variety of challenges. Whether you are experiencing conflict within your relationships, grappling with a fair division of labor within your household, struggling to connect with teens, or merely need a "tune up," I am able to assist with a compassionate, culturally relevant, tailored response to help with growth and progress in your daily life.
We are all uniquely human, and my approach embraces an integrated, person-centered therapeutic method with a focus on familial influence. My clinical experience has given me particular exposure to substance use disorders and family dynamics, which have helped shape my understanding of how trauma, family systems, and environmental stressors intersect and impact emotional well-being. I bring a rich history working with diverse populations across multiple settings and am dedicated to creating a safe, cohesive environment while modeling stable and appropriate boundaries.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina as well as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. Prior to pursuing my clinical career, I spent over two decades in the finance world and served as a Court Appointed Advocate (Guardian ad Litem) for abused and neglected children in Union County — experiences that deepened my critical thinking and my passion for advocating for vulnerable families.
