I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I am also a K-12 licensed school counselor in NC.

I believe in meeting a client where they are at presently to make a meaningful and positive change. I provide a warm, directive, and authentic approach to create a safe and supportive environment that invites clients to build insight and achieve balance. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both settings. I have assisted my clients in different ways depending on their need including depression, anxiety, trauma, anger management, life transitions and grief/loss.

I can use various approaches depending on each client and can draw from several different clinical methods. I have experience utilizing solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindful techniques with dialectic behavior therapy, filial play therapy, gestalt therapy and will partner with my client to find what works best for them on their own journey. I have experience working with children as young as 5 years of age utilizing various play and bibliotherapy, adolescents using mainly solution-focused, dialectic behavior therapy and/or cognitive behavioral approaches; and adults using whatever modality fits the individual best.
